Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov on February 18 met President of the International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea Ismail Safi.
Mammadyarov briefed Safi on the energy and transport projects carried out by Azerbaijan in the region.
He also stressed the importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project for regional countries.
Ismail Safi, in turn, briefed Elmar Mammadyarov on the activity of the Fund, as well as its future plans.
He expressed hope that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Fund would continue to expand.
