Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has been put on the wanted list, Ukrinform reported.
Acting Prosecutor General Oleh Makhnitsky said this on Tuesday, Ukrinform reported.
"Yanukovych has been declared a suspect in committing a crime under Part 1, Article 115 (murder) with aggravating circumstances. He has been put on the wanted list," Makhnitsky said.
He said that former Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka had also been put on the wanted list.
Measures to establish the whereabouts of senior officials will be conducted by the subunits of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Interior Ministry, he said.
He also said that 50 people were currently suspects in criminal proceedings on murders and that this figure was not final.
