The security of the Caspian Sea is ensured through cooperation with neighboring countries and third forces will not be allowed to be present in this region, Iranian Navy commander, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said.
Sayyari made the remarks while visiting the fourth regional command (northern command) of Navy in Anzali city, Iran's Fars news agency reported on April 16.
The fourth regional command, which is stationed on the coast of the Caspian Sea, plays an important role in protecting Iran's interests and ensuring its security in the Caspian Sea.
Sayyari also added that the Caspian Sea is the sea of peace and friendship, and others will not be allowed to participate in ensuring its security.
