Azerbaijani citizen Rauf Mirkadirov is suspected of collaborating with the Armenian special services since April 2008. He is accused of holding several meetings in Armenia, Georgia and Turkey and transferring information about the situation in the socio-political and military spheres, including a state secret, the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office said on April 21.

Moreover, some photos and schemes were also delivered for conducting hostile activity against Azerbaijan.

His actions were directed against the sovereignty, national security, territorial integrity and defensive capacity of Azerbaijan, according to the statement.

A criminal case was filed under article 274 (state treason).

The Nasimi district court decided to arrest him for three months.
