Ali Larijani has been reappointed as the speaker of Iranian Parliament. Some 187 out of 264 members of the parliament voted in favor of him.

According to IRNA news agency, Larijani became the parliament speaker for next four years with 187 votes in favor.

Also another two candidates Ahmad Bakhshayesh and Bahram Piranvend have applied for this post. Bakhshayesh collected 32 votes, Piranvend collected 26 votes.

19 members of Parliament voted abstention.

According to internal regulations of Parliament, Parliament Board consisting of Chairman, two Vice-speaker, 6 Secretaries, and three observers.

After the election they sworn and became working.
Ali Larijani has been reappointed as the speaker of Iranian Parliament in 2013 with 213 votes.
