It was announced by Kazakh Foreign Ministry Aug.20 following a regular meeting chaired by Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov

"Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to participate at the meeting of heads of member states of the Customs Union and Ukraine in Minsk on Aug. 26, as well as in the inauguration of the newly elected President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in late August," the Ministry said.
Turkey is a key partner of Kazakhstan's foreign policy.
The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey amounted to $3.495.6 billion in 2013.
Turkey held the presidential election on Aug. 10. The current Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the election gaining 51.8 percent of the vote.
The former head of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu came in second with 38.56 percent of the vote, while the third place went to the People's Democracy Party's (HDP) Head Salahaddin Demirtas, who gained 9.79 percent of the vote.
The authority of the current President of Turkey Abdullah Gul will expire on Aug. 28.
