Azerbaijan and Romania discussed military-technical cooperation, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend Aug. 29.
The ministry said that an Azerbaijani delegation headed by Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov held a meeting with Romanian Economy Minister Constantin Nita Aug. 28.
During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania in the military-technical sphere.
Moreover, the Azerbaijani side was informed about the possibilities of the Romanian companies in the defense industry.
The broad opportunities of Azerbaijan and Romania were highlighted for the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The delegation headed by Azerbaijani Defense Minister to Romania completed the two-day visit, the ministry said.
