Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey will become even stronger and continue on the basis of the 'one nation - two states' principle, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Sept. 3.
He made the remarks in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Erdogan said that the cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, trade and humanitarian spheres was discussed during the meeting.
He went on to add that the energy projects are another important aspect of the bilateral relations.
Turkish president stressed that the whole world watches with admiration the success achieved by Azerbaijan in recent years and the country's high development level.
"The development of the brotherly Azerbaijan makes us glad, as the strengthening of our brothers strengthens our hopes for the future," Turkish president added.
