Russia would like to see a greater number of Russian tourists visiting Azerbaijan.
A member of the Public Chamber of Russia on the development of public diplomacy and the support of compatriots abroad Sergei Markov expressed such a wish at today's press conference at ITAR-TASS.
"We could take the low-coster as a basis, then a huge number of Russian tourists would be able to see Azerbaijan", he said, stressing that "one can not do without the participation of the state."
In his turn, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said that "all conditions have been created for the tourists, in particular, 5-star and 4-star hotels. Baku has even 7-star hotel."
"We have beautiful sandy beaches, there are ski resorts."
