Azerbaijan has achieved great success in recent years, member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine Anatoly Rahansky, taking part in the Fourth Baku International Humanitarian Forum, told Trend.
"Many industries are being developed in Azerbaijan, not just oil and gas," Rahansky said.
He said that it means that the country's budget is laid out properly, and the fact that such forums are held in Azerbaijan also means that the country develops in the right direction.
This forum is held at a high level, and the main goal of this event is to discuss issues of reconciliation, tolerance of different religions and nationalities, Rahansky said.
The annual Baku International Humanitarian Forum this year is held October 2-3, and tours to Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Guba and Gabala regions will be organized October 4-5.
The forum involves well-known politicians, representatives of the social and political circles, figures of science and culture.
