Azerbaijani president receives CEO of Formula One Group

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Chief Executive Officer of Formula One Group Bernard Ecclestone on Oct. 8.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of government attention paid to the development of sports in Azerbaijan, and noted that the country had a good experience in organizing high-profile international events.

During the conversation, the parties expressed confidence that Formula One racing would be excellently organized in Azerbaijan in 2016, adding this event would contribute to a further expansion of Azerbaijan's international cooperation in the field of sports.
