The city of Konya (Turkey) on January 12-14 will host the main conference on planning of the military drills "ISIK-2015", the defense ministry of Azerbaijan said Jan.12.
It is reported that the conference will be attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces.
Military aircraft and helicopters of air forces of a number of countries, along with Turkey, take part in the ISIK drills, said the ministry.
Reportedly Azerbaijani servicemen will participate in the drills mainly as observers.
Earlier, representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces participated in an international event dedicated to the acquaintance with the activity of Turkish Armed Forces Training Center Command and Sports School in Turkey's capital Ankara Dec.22-28, 2014.
Also, Azerbaijani servicemen attended the event entitled "Evaluation of activity on EU cooperation in the field of control over the export of dual-use goods and weapons" in Brussels, Belgium on December 4-5, 2014.
