PACE monitoring committee's co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan, Pedro Agramunt, is to Baku on April 8-9, according to a message on the PACE website.
The message read that Agramunt, who is preparing a report on "Azerbaijan's Chairmanship of the Council of Europe: what follow-up on respect for human rights?" for PACE's Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, will meet the justice minister, the prosecutor general and the chair of the supreme court and other judges.
PACE said Agramunt is also due to meet with the Working Group on Human Rights of Azerbaijan's parliament the Milli Majlis, and the head of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration.
PACE is an advisory body of the Council of Europe. It holds four sessions a year and adopts resolutions and recommendations.
