Pakistan and Azerbaijan have a long lasting relationship based on friendship and fraternity, Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Khalid Usman Qaiser said Apr.3, speaking at an event dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the independence of Pakistan.
"Azerbaijan appreciates the support of Pakistan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Pakistan appreciates the support of Azerbaijan in the Kashmir conflict," he said. "Pakistan is a peace-loving country, and we want all conflicts to be resolved peacefully. The cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan will develop in the future as well."
Speaking at the event, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan Salim Muslimov congratulated the people of Pakistan on Independence Day and noted the existence of strong ties between the two countries since ancient times.
He said that the fraternal relations between the two countries continue to grow rapidly, Pakistan and Azerbaijan develop strategic cooperation.
"Pakistan and Azerbaijan support each other in all issues, we will continue the development of our relations in the future as well," he said.
