President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received president of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, Saudi Arabian Minister of Youth and Sport and president of the National Olympic Committee Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud greeted the head of state on behalf of King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the excellent organization of the opening ceremony of the First European Games.
Saying that cooperation between the two countries is developing successfully in a bilateral format and in international organizations, Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to expanding relations with Azerbaijan.
Highlighting the opening ceremony of the First European Games, the head of state said the composition featured at the ceremony demonstrated Azerbaijan's history, culture and modernity. President Ilham Aliyev said there are good opportunities for expanding relations between the two countries.
The head of state thanked for the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and asked Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to extend his greetings to the Saudi king.
