Deputy head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department Novruz Mammadov has expressed regret over the position of the UK ambassador to Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq who earlier criticized Azerbaijan.
"Yesterday I came across an information in the media that defies all the norms," Mammadov tweeted June 18.
"UK's ambassador to Azerbaijan called it a shame that some British journalists were not accredited," Mammadov said.
Apparently, UK's ambassador believes he can say and do whatever he wants about Azerbaijan, said the top official, adding that it is disappointing.
