Azerbaijan condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Egypt, Kuwait and Tunisia, said the country's Foreign Ministry June 30.

The ministry's statement said in particular that Azerbaijan, as a country affected by terrorism, strongly condemns all forms of terrorism and expresses solidarity with the people and government of Egypt in combating it.

The message also condemned the terrorist attack on Egypt's prosecutor general Hisham Barakat, who died as a result of a bomb explosion on June 29, according to the Al-Ahram newspaper. The ministry issued condolences to the friends and relatives of the prosecutor general.

The ministry's statement also condemned the terrorist attacks that took place in Kuwait and Tunisia. The statement expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of those killed as a result of the terrorist attacks in these countries and wished the injured speedy recovery.

The statement said Azerbaijan expresses solidarity with the people and government of Kuwait in combating terrorism. A terrorist attack in Kuwait claimed lives of 27 people on June 26, when a suicide bomber blasted himself in a Shiite mosque in Kuwaiti capital.

Meanwhile, Tunisia suffered the most fatal terrorist attack in its history, when a local student shot tens of people on June 26 at a Tunisian Sousse resort. The "Islamic State" organization claimed the responsibility for the attack.
