New committee heads have been elected in Azerbaijani parliament of the fifth convocation in its first session.
Moreover, four new committees have been created in the parliament. Earlier, the number of the parliamentary committees was 11.
The newly-elected committee heads are:
Legal Policy and State Building Committee - Ali Huseynli;
Committee on Security, Defense and Fighting Corruption - Ziyafat Asgarov;
Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Environment - Valeh Alasgarov;
Science and Education Committee - Isa Habibbayli;
Culture Committee - Rafael Huseynov;
Committee on Human Rights - Bahar Muradova;
Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations - Samad Seyidov;
Labor and Social Policy Committee - Hadi Rajabli;
Agrarian Policy Committee - Eldar Ibrahimov;
Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee - Ziyad Samadzade;
Committee on Regional Affairs - Arif Rahimzade.
Moreover, heads of the newly-created committees are:
Committee on Health Affairs - Ahliman Amiraslanov;
Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs - Agiya Nakhchivanli;
Committee on Public Unions and Religious Organizations - Siyavush Novruzov;
Youth and Sports Committee - Fuad Muradov.
