Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has expressed condolences over the death of two Azerbaijani policemen during the special operation in Baku's Nardaran settlement Nov.26.

"We condemn all forms of terrorism," Cavusoglu said during the joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov Nov.27.

Four members of the criminal group operating under the guise of religion were eliminated during the special operation held by the employees of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry in Nardaran settlement located 25 kilometers from Baku Nov.26. Moreover two policemen were killed during the operation.

Fourteen members of the group led by Taleh Baghirov have been detained.

Further, Cavusoglu noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey have very good relations at all levels and it will continue this way.

The two countries have similar positions on combating terrorism, said Cavusoglu, adding that both countries have already faced terrorism threats and can fight it together.
