Azerbaijan is cooperating with Israel in a multilateral format, Asim Mollazade, Azerbaijani MP, told Trend Dec. 13
Being friendly countries, Azerbaijan and Israel fully cooperate in such areas as security, economy, energy, culture, Mollazade, who is also a member of the Azerbaijan-Israel working group on interparliamentary relations, said.
Mollazade added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Azerbaijan contributes to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Speaking about some Iranian politicians’ dissatisfaction with the development of the Azerbaijan-Israel relations and Netanyahu’s visit to Azerbaijan, the MP added that not only Azerbaijan, but also a number of other Muslim countries, cooperate with Israel today.
Mollazade added that the Azerbaijan-Israel relations are not directed against any third country, as those ties are based on mutual interest of the two countries.
