Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Azerbaijan will expand relations between the two countries, Azerbaijani MP Elman Nasirov told Trend Dec. 13.
He added that the Azerbaijan-Israel relations are at a high level.
“Political dialogue, trade and economic ties, military and technical cooperation are developing between the two countries,” he added.
Nasirov added that the military and technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel is at a high level.
“The Azerbaijan-Israel relations are based on mutually beneficial and equal cooperation,” he said.
“These relations are not directed against other countries, because Azerbaijan has a peaceful foreign policy,” he added. “The bilateral relations are aimed at regional security and helping stabilize the situation in the region.”
“The development of the Azerbaijan-Israel relations can play a positive role in the Israel-Palestine conflict settlement,” he said. “Azerbaijan can play a mediating role in the normalization of the Palestine-Israel relations.”
