MILITARY DOCTRINE OF AZERBAIJAN TO BE COMPETE BY AUTUMN, VICE SPEAKER ASSURES

At present the work on the development of a military doctrine of Azerbaijan. The document will be more probably discussed adopted in the autumn session of the parliament, Ziyafat Asgarov, the vice chairman of the Milli Majlis [parliament]. A working group established in the beginning of the 2005 at

the presidential decree, included experienced specialists and therefore, there is no necessity for attracting additional foreign experts.

В"The working group will study the experience of foreign countries in the sphere of military doctrine. However, it does not mean the military doctrine will be similar to the document adopted in other countries. The key objective is to develop a mature document. Indeed, the interests of the Azerbaijani statehood will be on the top,” Asgarov underlined.

The vice-speaker did not inform which countries’ experience did the countries use while developing the military doctrine of the country.
