Preparation for the rally, scheduled for 25 June 2005, by a number of political parties and non-governmental organizations are coming to an end, the National вЂ"Democratic Party, one of the action participants told Trend.
The rally will start on June 25 at 17.00 p.m. with the march from the “20 January” subway station to Gelebe square, where it will finish at 19.00 p.m., the report says.
The Baku executive authority sanctioned the rally. The rally will be held under the
slogans of the human rights protection, solution of a number of problems and ensure of holding free and democratic elections and other.
The action organizers are the National-Democratic, Islamic, Liberal, Republican and Popular Parties, as well as Umid, Vahdat, Turk Milletci, Vetendas hemreyliyi, Boyuk Qurulus, Fezilet. The election block Vetendas cemiyyeti quruculari, Movement in the name of Azerbaijan, the Baku office of the World Azerbaijanis Congress and other organizations will also take part.
Up to 10,000 people will be involved in the rally, its organizers think.
