В"There is no need for President Ilham Aliyev to take part in the dialogue, held with involvement of political parties”, the executive secretary of the ruling “New Azerbaijan” party (NAP), the MP Ali Ahmedov said in his interview to Trend.
At the meetings, held so far, there was exchange of opinions on setting up relations between political parties, therefore, there is no need for the president to take part in such meetings.
В"The NAP is the supporter of continuation of such meetings, as it is the initiator of the dialogue between various political parties. In general, we are pleased with meetings held so far in two rounds. We think these meetings were rather fruitful. And as for the Azerbaijan President’s partaking in the meeting of political parties, the head of the state is engaged in more important things and his participation in such events is not obligatory”, Ahmedov noted.
According to him. The current format will not be changed at the meeting of political parties.
