There were very serious discussions, relevant resolutions have been adopted, Mollazade added. The CE is a very important institution for Azerbaijan. Thanks to cooperation with the CE Azerbaijan has the opportunity of setting up democratic institutions, corresponding to those principles and values, which the CE defends. And our country, fulfilling their commitments, gets even closer to Europe.

Touching upon the political prisoners issue, Mollazade said, that the main thing is that the CE appreciated highly setting up of the working group, involving representatives of the executive authorities, the Parliament and non-governmental human rights organizations in Azerbaijan.
