The possibility of the Azadliq bloc’s increase on the account of other forces has not been ruled out, head of the Musavat party, Isa Gambar told a news conference on 28 June, Trend reports.
According to him, there are many proposals to join the block, which are currently under discussion. But leaders of the Azadliq block do not strive for the organization’s artificial grow.
Isa Gambar noted, that the regular meeting of the “Our Azerbaijan” block took place on 28 June (today), at which such issues, as Gambar’s visit to Turkey and Ukraine, signing of
the Istanbul Declaration by leaders of three parties, preparation for the elections, definition of the Azadliq block unified candidates list, educational problems and other have been discussed.
Head of the Musavat noted, that leaders of the parties, forming the Azadliq block, signed the Istanbul Declaration, which noted the necessity for changing the Election Code. The Azadliq block took also a decision to hold a meeting on 10 July.
Gambar also noted, that most of the block’s candidates are defined. The reasons for delay of defining the rest part of candidates are a small number of electoral districts, applications to join the block and etc. Head of the Musavat finds it expedient to hold a dialogue authority-opposition, delay of the next meeting he explained by objective reasons.
