Рђzerbaijan and Greece will sign an agreement on cooperation in public order security field, the Greek Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The draft agreement has been prepared by the experts of the public order security ministry of Greece and submitted to the Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry for consideration. It envisions interaction in fighting the international terrorism, transnational and organized crime, illegal weapon and narcotics handling.
The Azerbaijani side after some amendments and proposals sent the document to Greek experts. More than 60% of the project is currently coordinated, the Embassy noted. The document is supposed to be signed till the year-end during the visit of one of the countries’ delegations.
