President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on 8 July the Minister of Internal Affairs of Pakistan, Aftab Ahmed khan Sherpao. During the talk, the head of the Azerbaijani state voiced content by the level of cooperation between two countries, having underlined the significance of mutual visits at the high level.
The Azerbaijani President appreciated highly the results of the Pakistan President Parviz Musharraf’s visit to Baku and his visit to Islamabad.
Having emphasized the especial importance of the Pakistan’s position on support of Azerbaijan at the international arena, Ilham Aliyev noted, that the cooperation between two countries must develop at all levels, between the internal Ministries of both countries as well.
The head of the Pakistan’s Internal Ministry, in his turn, on behalf f the President of his country, Parviz Musharraf and the Prime Minister, Shovket Aziz conveyed to the head of the Azerbaijni state greetings and words of deep honour, having noted, that Pakistan and Azerbaijan cooperate closely within the international organizations.
