The European Union (EU) plans to complete the project �Support toreforms in legal and judicial system of Azerbaijan’ by late this year, the representative of the EU in Baku told Trend.
Implemented by the EU jointly with the Justice Ministry the since 2002 the project envisages delivery of assistance to the development of the reforms. This assistance is directed to the improvement of education centers, where trainings for judges, workers of justice bodies and lawyers are hold.
Besides, modern libraries, data bases covering changes to the legislation and reforms are organized in the centers under the project.
EU has allotted a $370mn assistance since the very establishment of cooperation with Azerbaijan in 1992.
