In May foreign trade turnover reduced. The monthly foreign trade balance became black. The foreign trade turnover comprised $2.82bn. The growth pace of export grew 5.82% and comprised $1.06bn. Meanwhile, import rose 44.49% and comprised $1,76bn. The
In this period foreign trade ended with a balance at $0.70bn in red.

Drop in export of crude delivery via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline was the key factor reducing the export.

Over the first two months of 2005 export of raw cotton reduced 29.7%.
