PREPARATIONS TO GEORDIAN PRIME MINISTER’S VISIT TO AZERBAIJAN UNDERWAY

The program of the 18-19 July forthcoming visit of the Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli to Azerbaijan and the agenda of the next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, as well as the business-forum will be coordinated during the current visit of governments’ experts of Georgia to Baku, the Georgian Embassy’s spokesman Alexander Ahvlediani told Trend.

Some of the experts are already in Baku, the others will arrive on 15 July. According to the diplomat, the experts are to elaborate and coordinate the agenda of the meeting and the forum, drafts agreements, to be signed in the framework of the head of the Georgian government’s visit.

Drafts of some bilateral agreements on the development of trade-economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia have been prepared for today, he said. They cover development of cooperation in agriculture, trade, industry, energy, transport and humanitarian sphere.

According to the diplomat, the visit of Nogaideli will commence on 18 July in Gyanja, where the meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held.

On 19 July the governmental delegation will arrive in Baku for negotiations with the country’s leadership and participation in the business-forum, to be held in the morning on 19 July at the Baku business-centre.
