The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received on 15 July the analyst of the US Brookings Institution, Fiona Hill.
During the talk, such issues, as the Middle East conflict and Iraq in the context of the US foreign policy, as well as mutual relations of Washington with Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia have been touched upon, Trend reports. Exchange of opinions on ties of Turkey with the USA and the European Union took place.
The sides paid a special attention to the socio-political situation in Iraq, and discussed the results of the Brussels international conference on Iraq. Head of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan answered the guest’s questions.
