A group of Azerbaijani MPs will pay a visit to Lefkoshu, the capital of North Cyprus, from 17 to 21 July, Trend reports quoting MP Gultakin Hajiyeva. Along with Hajiyeva the delegation will include MPs Rabiyyat Aslanova, Malahat Hassanova, Ogtay Samadov, and Namik
Aliyev.
The same time Mustafa Evran, the head of the Azerbaijani representation of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of North Cyprus, the delegation includes 7-8 MPs who will participate in the celebrations of national holiday вЂ" Day of Peace and Freedom on 20 July.
В"For the first time in the history of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus relationships, the delegation of Azerbaijani MPs was formed not at the initiative of Cyprus, but the leadership of the Azerbaijani parliament,” Evran underlined.
The Day of Peace and Freedom is celebrated in North Cyprus since 20 July 1974.
