The State Statistics Committee (SSC) plans to receive more exact data on inflation early 2006, Arif Valiyev, the head of the SSC, said on July 18, Trend reports.
The system for calculation of inflation will be based on prices of 586 kinds of foods, nonfoods and services. The relevant work in this direction has started.
In January-June 2005 the rate of the inflation comprised 4.8%, while the rate of deflation was only 1.8%. The inflation rate was 13.5% in January-June 2005 as compared to 2004.
