Candidates of the “Independent media-2005” electoral block will be balloted from the regions of Azerbaijan, a block member, the editor-in-chief of the В"525-th gazetВ" Rashad Medjid told Trend.
He noted, that the candidates from their constituency would be defined the next week. According to Medjid, the issues related to the elections have been delayed due to celebrations of the 130-th anniversary of the national press this week.
He also noted, that starting with the next week the block members will visit the regions. “The candidates will be balloted from the regions, therefore the tours to the regions and meetings with the local residents have been scheduled. These works will become more intensive during the propaganda campaign”, Medjid noted.
He will nominate his candidature himself from the 82-th Agdjabedi electoral constituency. He also added, that new block members are expected to join.
