The preparatory meeting on the case of Turgay Bayramov, involved into the case of Elmar Husseynov’s murder, was held at the Nizami District court on 18 July. Namizad Safarov, the lawyer of the defendant, submitted information about family, permanent dwelling and demanded his release on the base of non-concealment from the court. He also informed the court about absence of the components of the serious crime in his
actions.
Abdulla Yusifov, the deputy head of the State Prosecution Board of the Republic Prosecutor, noted that if the defendant was released, the peoples interested in the case would put pressure upon him.
The court did not satisfy the motion on change of the arrest as restraint. The next meeting was appointed on July 22.
