ANIP CHAIR REFUTES REPORTS ON LEADING OPPOSITIONIST’S LEAVING �NEW POLICY’

“The news about leaving of Etibar Mammadov, the leader of the Azerbaijani National Independence Party (ANIP), the ranks of the elections block �New Policy’ and his further joining to the National Unity Movement led by Lala Shovkat is rumor,” Ali Aliyev, the chairman of the ANIP, told Trend.

“Mammadov will participate in the elections as candidate of �New Policy’ and will ballot constituency 6 of Yasamal,” Aliyev noted.

Avaz Temirkhan, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Azerbaijani Liberal party, also denied the media reports spread in this respect. According to Temirkhan, Mammadov and Hajiyeva do not conduct, or plan negotiations on joining the National Unity Movement.
