The rectorate of the Middle East University (MEU) of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus made a resolution to approve scholarships for the Azerbaijani students. Fakhraddin Sadikoglu, the head of the Azerbaijani-Cypriot center on economy, culture and cooperation, Prof. of the MEU, said a day Azerbaijani-Cypriot economic forum held in Lefkoshu on Sunday.
Sadikoglu noted that the resolution was taken with regard to deepen the relations between Azerbaijan and the Northern Cyprus. During the course of study the Azerbaijani students will hold the status like the citizens of the Northern Cyprus.
