The Azerbaijani and Greek Ministries of Internal Affairs are eager to expand the cooperation in the struggle against organized crime, transnational crime and international terrorism.
The Greek Ministry of Public Order Protection submitted to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs the draft document, envisaging interaction in the struggle with the international terrorism, transnational and organized crime, illegal arm and drug traffic, the Greek embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend. The Azerbaijani side sent back the document with some changes and supplements. 80% of the document has been unified, the embassy said.
The draft agreement is supposed to be signed till late 2005.
