The Baku executive power has not authorized the scheduled for 30 July picket of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (reformists) in front of the Lider TV channel building, the PFPA told Trend.
It should be noted, that the party’s activists took a decision to hold picket on 30 July at 12 p.m. in front of the Lider TV channel building to protest against discrediting the PFPA (reformists) chairman Ali Kerimli.
In the return letter of 28 July, the city authorities found it more expedient to hold not a picket, but discussions at the table. В"Therefore, we do not sanction holding picket on 30 July from 12 p.m. till 13.00 p.m. in front of the Lider TV channel building”, the letter reads.
The PFPA (reformists) deputy chairman Hassan Kerimov noted, any dialogue with the leadership of the TV channel, which propagates immorality and humiliation of the human dignity is out of the question. В"The Party will hold picket in front of the TV channel building based on the freedom of assemblies”, Kerimov underlined.
