Vugar Abdullayev and Mahir Mammadov, the representatives of the Azerbaijani War Medicine Service, will visit the War Medicine Service in Kaunas from 2 to 5 August, the press-service of the Lithuanian Defense Ministry told IA REGNUM. The gests will meet with Leonardas Bakaychus, the commander of the Lithuanian War Medicine Service.
The participants of the meeting will discuss bilateral cooperation and prospective of personnel training for military medicine. Besides, Abdullayev and Mammadov will get familiar with activities of the War Medicine Service in Lithuania, visit the Training Centre of War Medicine, as well as the Kaunas Medical Centre.
It is the first official visit of the Azerbaijani doctors to Lithuania. The Lithuanian Defense Ministry hopes that the meeting will serve the cooperation with the Caucasus countries in the military sphere. The Lithuanian War Medicine Service is cooperating with military medical workers of Denmark, Sweden, United States, Germany, Norway, Latvia, and Estonia.
