EYTAN NAYE: РђZERBAIJAN IS TOLERANT STATE, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR ANTI-SEMITISM HERE

Рђzerbaijan is a tolerant and open state, where no forms of anti-Semitism exist, such a statement was made by the Israel Ambassador Eytan Naye, completing his mission in Azerbaijan, on 4 August at the news conference in Baku, Trend reports.

В"The intolerance towards Jews is felt today in many countries of the world,while there are no such processes in Azerbaijan”, the diplomat noted. Naye also noted, during his yesterday’s (on 3 August) meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, the head of the state noted, “friendly attitude towards Jews is not a state policy, but a national feature of the Azerbaijani people”.

В"We are thankful to Azerbaijan and the country’s leadership for that. We are thankful to Ilham Aliyev, who stated, that Azerbaijanis and Jews are brothers”, the Israeli diplomat stressed.

В"I hope the inter-state relations will get new impetus after opening the Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Israel”, Naye noted, having underlined, the opening of the new diplomatic mission will stimulate development of further bilateral relations.
