The executive power of Geychay region did not give permission to Azadlig block to hold march-rally scheduled for 6 August in the center of the region, the Azadlig block told Trend. The return letter of the Executive power reads, that local branches of parties, members of the Azadlig block may hold the action on the football ground, located outside the town.
On 4 August chairmen of parties local branches of Azadlig block were called to the local police department. The Head of the police department, the regional prosecutor and the official from the Ministry of the National Security stated to the oppositionists, that they must hold the action where they were determined by the executive power, i.e., on the stadium, otherwise, they will not admit to hold the rally in the city center.
Local representatives of the Azadlig block find it illegal the decision of the executive power of Geychay region and express resolution to hold the march-rally on 6 August at 11.00 a.m. in the city center.
