“My joining any elections bloc is impossible. My party supports me and it’s enough,” Igbal Agazada, the chairman of the Umud Party told Trend.

Agazada noted that he could cooperate with election blocs and political parties only to hold democratic and fair elections. He excluded any possibility of joining the elections blocs and participation at the parliamentary elections in their list of candidates.

The Musavat Party, former ally of the Umud Party, did not included Agazada in its slate and nominated the candidacy of Fuad Gahramanli, a member of the presidium of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (reformers), from the Khatai 3rd constituency, where Agazada balloted.

According to Agazada, the Azadlig’ bloc, which does not support him and nominated the rival to him, has neither legal nor political alliance with the Umud Party any more. It is their problem. Evidently, they do not will to see the Umud Party in his ranks.

He also added that the Unud Party had 34 candidates and 28 of them appeal to the constituencies. Agazada completed the collection of signatures.
