РђIOC RESUMED OPERATION OF WESTERN ROUTE AND SUPSA TERMINAL

The Azerbaijan International Operational Company (AIOC) resumed on 9 August the operation of the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline (the western route) and the Georgian terminal in Supsa, AIOC told Trend.

The system’s operation was suspended in early August according to the schedule for technical maintenance and replacement of some equipment. The scheduled halt was held for the first time this year.

The systems’ operation suspension has not affected the Azeri Light oil production on the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli (ACG) oil field. AIOC has the capacities to store 1 million barrel of oil at the Supsa terminal and up to 4 million barrels at the terminal in Sangachal.
