The average cost price of one ton of the oil extraction on the oil fields of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) is today 193,000 AZM ($41), 1,000 cubic meters gas вЂ" 114,000 AZM ($24), head of SOCAR Natig Aliyev told a news conference today, Trend reports.
SOCAR extracts oil and gas on 55 fields, 18 of them are off-shore fields, 37 - are on-shore ones. Since the start of the year SOCAR overfulfilled the plan on the production on its fields by 3,1%.
According to him, in 2004 the average cost price of sale of 1 ton of oil products, produced at the Oil Refiners of SOCAR was $145, since the start of 2005 this figure is $367 per ton.
