On 18 August the officers of the Azerbaijani State Border Service visited the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev on the 86th anniversary of the Frontier Troops.
Then they visited the Cemetery of Martyrs, commemorated the memory of all those who perished their lives for independence of Motherland, and put fresh wreathes on the monument �Eternal Fire’, erected near the Cemetery of Martyrs.
A ceremony of military oath was held in connection with the professional holiday frontier guards. Young solders, who received the frontier education, were admitted to the Frontier Troops.
