The chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP, reformers), Ali Kerimli, appealed to the President of Georgia, Michael Saakashvili, with request to assist in the investigation into the case of the leader of �Yeni fikir’ (�New idea’) youth organization, Ruslan Bashirli, the PFAP told Trend.
The leader of the PFAP asks President Saakashvili to charge the law-enforcement bodies of Georgia to carry out an objective investigation to identify all those who met with Bashirli in Tbilisi.
The text of the letter addressed to Saakashvili by Kerimli, which was published on 19 August 2005, in the newspaper Realniy Azerbaijan, was not the original, the same source said.
