Rene van der Linden, the chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) held a meeting with the Azerbaijani Law-defenders at the CE Information Office in Baku on Monday. In the first half of the day Linden also plans to hold a meeting with the representatives of Azadlig and Yeni Siyaset (New Policy) elections bloc.
The second part of the day he plans to hold meeting with the head-of-staff of the President’s Executive Power, Ramiz Mehdiyev, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The program of the visit scheduled for Tuesday includes breakfast with Lori Bristow, the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan, talks with Speaker Alasgarov, the Azerbaijani parliamentary representatives to the PACE, Prime Minister Artur Rasizada, and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
The same day at 18.00pm [local hours] Linden will hold a news conference for media representatives in Azerbaijan at the CE Information Office based in Baku.
