В"The Liberal-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (LDPA) will sign an agreement with the National Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (NDPA), the LDPA chairman Fuad Aliyev told Trend.
Aliyev noted, the decision was taken after two weeks ago a group of party functionaries removed Iskender Gamidov from the post of the NDPA chairman and elected Mamed Ismailov a new chairman.
According to the party’s chairman, Ismailov is currently in Turkey to meet with the nationalists (grey wolves). В"Upon Ismailov’s coming back the agreement will be signed”, Aliyev noted.
However, Gamidov reported, nobody removed him from the LDPA chairman position. В"It is me, who retains the status of the party’s chairman so far, and I do not know a person under the name of Mamed Ismailov”, Gamidov noted, such kind of information is of a provocative character. He also noted, he expected such information.
